Bio

Brittney BladesBrittney Blades (a.k.a) Patricia Forrest has grown up on the stage.  She began early on with dance and musical theater, focusing mainly on classical Russian ballet as she got older. She has been in numerous ballets, musicals, and plays throughout her life.  Once she moved back to Huntsville, she became involved with a local Burlesque troop.  When the Squidling Brothers Circus Sideshow came through to perform with them, the rest was history.  She taught herself how to swallow swords and eat fire- while on pointe!  She is a member of the exclusive Sword Swallowers Association International, with less than a couple dozen members, even fewer are female.  She has been featured on the radio, newspaper, and magazines, and has performed at Ripley’s Believe it or Not for World Sword Swallowers Day.

Patricia performs mostly alone, but has teamed up with classical guitarist Phil Weaver to form Rosewood Fire and Steel, an “alternative classical duo” where she performs to classical music Phil plays.  Visit Phil’s site here.
